Welcome to Gregory Bendau Therapy (“Gregory Bendau,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Training Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all educational trainings, workshops, and related events (“Trainings”) offered by Gregory Bendau, AMFT.
By registering for or participating in a Training, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

 

Professional Status & Educational Purpose

Gregory Bendau is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 124339) practicing under the supervision of Jill Lummus, Licensed Psychologist (PSY17224), in accordance with California law.
All Trainings are intended solely for educational and professional development purposes. Participation in a Training does not constitute therapy, clinical supervision, or professional consultation, nor does it establish a therapeutic or supervisory relationship between you and Gregory Bendau.

 

Registration & Payment

• Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been received.

• You will receive an email confirmation with event details after completing registration.

• Payment is processed securely through our website’s checkout system.

• Your registration reserves a seat in a limited-capacity workshop; therefore, space cannot be held without payment.

 

Non-Refundable Policy & Credits

• All payments are non-refundable.

• If you are unable to attend, you may request a credit toward a future session by contacting us at gregorybendautherapy@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled Training.

• Credits are not guaranteed and depend on future event availability.

• No refunds or credits will be issued for same-day cancellations, non-attendance, or missed portions of the training.

 

Rescheduling or Cancellation by Organizer

In the event that Gregory Bendau must cancel or reschedule a Training due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, technical failure, or emergency), participants will be notified promptly.
Participants may elect to:

• Transfer to a new session date; or

• Receive a full refund if no suitable reschedule option is available.

Gregory Bendau Therapy is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs incurred in relation to attendance.

 

Participant Responsibilities

By registering, you agree to:

• Attend the full session as scheduled.

• Arrive (or log in) on time and be present for the duration of the event.

• Maintain a respectful and professional environment for yourself and other participants.

• Not record, reproduce, or distribute any training content or materials without written permission.

 

Technology & Access (Virtual Events)

For online Trainings conducted via Zoom or similar platforms:

• Participants are responsible for ensuring reliable internet access and compatible devices.

• Technical difficulties on the participant’s side do not qualify for refunds or credits.

• Participants may not share the meeting link or allow unregistered individuals to attend.

All virtual sessions are password-protected for privacy and security.

 

Confidentiality

Participants may hear or discuss examples of clinical situations during the Training. You agree to maintain confidentiality and not disclose identifying information about clients, colleagues, or other participants.
You also agree not to share any proprietary materials, handouts, or recordings without permission.

 

No Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Unless otherwise stated, Trainings do not provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or certifications. Participation is solely for educational enrichment and professional skill-building.

 

Intellectual Property

All Training content—including slides, materials, handouts, and recordings—is the intellectual property of Gregory Bendau Therapy and is protected by copyright law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or adapt any portion of the materials without prior written consent.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Gregory Bendau, AMFT, and any affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in a Training.

• You assume full responsibility for how you apply or interpret information provided during the event.

• The educational content provided is not a substitute for independent clinical judgment, legal advice, or professional consultation.

 

Privacy & Communications

By registering for a Training, you consent to receive email communication regarding your registration, event updates, and future educational offerings.
Personal information collected for registration is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

 

Acceptance of Terms

By completing registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Training Terms & Conditions.
Your participation in any Training constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.
